About Us

Bicester Boot Camp is a one stop outdoor fitness group for everyone.  It was born following the request of a couple of friends who felt that Bicester needed something different for those fed up with doing the same thing in stuffy gyms.  The first sessions started in June 2014 and by the end of the summer over 500 people had joined the Facebook group.  2015 promises to see bigger and better things for Bicester Boot Camp to continue to make it Bicester's best fitness group.

Achievements

2014 was a fantastic year for me with the birth of Bicester Boot Camp and my completion of the London Marathon.

In addition I have also completed numerous races including the horrendous Tough Guy race on 4 occasions.

Life is about taking yourself out of your comfort zone and achieve everything you want.  If I can run the marathon then anything is possible!!

Peter Green

Owner, Instructor and Personal Trainer

I've worked in the Prison Service for 20 years and am currently a Physical Education Instructor for young offenders.  I have years of training and experience but I am always looking to learn and improve what I do.

I am passionate about using physical activity to help build fitness and confidence.  My vision is to help encourage and support everyone into getting involved in physical activity no matter what your levels of fitness.  We all have to start somewhere!

Fitness doesn't have to be scary.  Bicester Boot Camp is fun and friendly, and smiling makes every exercise easier!!

Supporting Others

I'm very proud of the support Boot Camp

gave to so many good causes last year.

Collectively from personal events and Boot Camp sessions I was able to contribute over £5000 to Sobell House, Juvenile Diabetes, Breast Cancer Research and Oxford Rape Crisis centre amongst others last year.

More events will be scheduled throughout 2015.

Team Events

I was very proud to have a team of Bicester Boot Campers complete the Wolf Run last winter and look forward to more events this year!! Nothing brings a team together more than being stuck up to your waist in freezing mud!!!
